Confederation of African Football (CAF)
In March 2006 Standard Bank became an official partner to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and a sponsor of a number of CAF events on the continent including the CAF Champions League and the African Cup of Nations (AFCON). Standard Bank was a sponsor of AFCON 2008 in Ghana, and will also be a sponsor of the AFCON event to be held Angola in January 2010.
