Invalid beneficiary format used

Products I am trying to make a payment to a company beneficiary, when I type in the beneficiary reference which is a 5 alphabets (no numbers) i get an error message in red at the top of my screen.
"Invalid beneficiary reference format used. Please confirm the beneficiary reference and the correct format of the reference to use with the Company you are trying to pay/load before trying again."
I can't pay this beneficiary, so I have to go down to the bank and do a physical deposit.
Please could Standard Bank allow the company beneficiary field to accommodate both alpha and numeric references, it will be a good idea.

This happened to me as well when trying to pay a beneficiary. It would be useful to have the expected format mask and an example posted up next to the Beneficiary Reference field to clear up any ambiguity.
