I really think Standard Bank should provide its Muslim customers a way of investing their money in accordance to the Islamic Shariah law. It would really be convenient for us to invest our money with the same bank that we bank with.
Why can I not increase my debit card swipe limit, but I can increase my daily withrdrawal limit?
This makes no sense to me they are almost the same thing, they both require a pin number, and thus the same level of security. It sucks that I can only swipe for one amount and then have to go to the ATM, or into the bank, to withdraw the remainder.
It would be a great idea if Standard Bank customers could buy World Cup Fifa tickets using internet and cellphone banking.
The chances of someone getting hold of our pins, when we make use of ATMs has become very likely. This is because all fraudsters need are our card and pin in order to access/withdrawal money from ATM machines.

Is it possible for Standard Bank to offer prepaid electricity online like FNB do?
Standard Bank needs to compete with the other banks and also introduce an unlimited pricing option for example: pay R70 per month and all electronic (transfers, payments, cash withdrawals at Standard Bank Atms, etc) is free.

All debit, cheque and credit card swipes should be free.
Having a card is supposed to mean we don't have to draw cash for safety reasons but if we are going to be charged to swipe it, it ends up costing more.
Please give us free swipes on all cards.

However, given the exchange rate between Kenya shilling and Uganda shilling, the bank charges of cashing an UGX dividend cheque eats up about 25% of my dividend, and I’m sure that figure is higher for other shareholders who either (i) own less shares or (ii) bank with more expensive institutions.
